Sign in with your Microsoft account
You need a Microsoft account to use GPT for Word.
When you launch the GPT for Excel Word add-in:

From Word desktop:

If you're already signed in with your Microsoft account, the add-in automatically uses that account.

If you're not signed in or you're using multiple accounts, the add-in prompts you to choose an account.

From Word for the web: You need to sign in with your Microsoft account when you first launch the add-in.
If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, such as a personal account and a work account, you can switch between them to ensure you are using the correct account in GPT for Word.
